Im on my period and my cramps hurt so bad i can't sleep

My cramps have been waking me up ever since I stopped taking the pill 😣 
Now I can't fall back asleep but sleep is all I wanna do lol

I don't get cramps. I just get really bad insomnia. Take tonight for example. I fell asleep around 10pm, woke up around 1am, and I'm still awake. It is now 3:54am.

If I'm in pain I can't sleep, but if I've taken pain meds I can fall asleep on my front on a hot water bottle.
