Body Pillows?

Question

I have had trouble accepting my boyfriends pillow hugging habit in bed since I just don't understand it. He's a cuddler alright but as soon as he falls in deep sleep he grabs his pillows until morning. Is this normal? I feel an emotional rift created between us. Please advice me.

I can't sleep unless I'm cuddling my squishy cushion. It's just a comfort thing! I like cuddling my partner too but I always reach for the cushion before I fall asleep! I wouldn't worry about it, it's probably just habit.

I'm a big time cuddled too. However, I've had 4 knee surgeries and have to sleep with my body pillow too. It's the only way I can sleep. Many people without any surgical or chronic pain issues need to sleep with pillows as well- it helps get your body in an ergonomically correct position. I'm an IMCU RN and we often position patients in the hospital using pillows to achieve this! So rest at ease, your man just has good sleep hygiene ?

I'm not in a relationship but I  would love to have a body pillow. Right now I have to suck it up and use a blanket. For me it not really cuddling it's just how comfortable it feels in my arms and legs. Plus if it's cold that's a hug bonus. Both of my parent sleep together and the both have their own body pillow

I love cuddling my husband in bed but have hip and low back issues. I use a pillow between my knees all the way to my ankles to keep hip and back aligned. Nothing to do with our love or not wanting to be close. Don't stress unless he does other weird things to his body pillow. Lol. Had to make light of it to ease your mind.

It's completely normal my SO does it to. It's just a habit and he sleeps better. Also it helps his back
