I need some convincing advice!

I'm in a new but serious relationship (4 months). I've been taking birth control since 2011, and I'm really good at being consistent with it. However, my boyfriend always wants to use condoms. We've had sex without it once, but that's it.

Sex almost feels impersonal and it bums me out. Any advice as to how I can convince him it's okay to have sex without a condom? I've talked to him about it and even read him facts on birth control!! 😣
