Will someone please explain to me what this new healthcare bill is going to do to women?

If you're a woman or have mental health issues, you're fucked. Have you ever had a C-section? That's a pre-existing condition and they could decide to not cover you. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc? That's a Pre-existing condition

Even people with employer provided healthcare are screwed because of a provision where your state can choose to waive the minimum insurance requirements (such as for pregnancy).  So if you live in a red state, good luck.  The only people this cruel bill benefits is billionaires.  It kills me that Republicans claim to be the moral, "Christian" party.  All they care about is money and themselves.

They can surcharge your premium based on your health - I've read that for pregnancy, they can charge $17,000 in additional premium for the year.

From what I understand if you already have insurance the stuff they consider to be preexisting won't count. Or if you have private insurance it shouldn't affect you
