Is there such a thing as daycare once a week?

I work from home 4 days a week and have to go into the office every Thursday. My husband usually watched our 9 month old on that day, but has accepted a new position where he will have to work every Thursday. Just wondering if this is even an option?

I would find somebody who does in home daycare, that way you won't have to pay for the full week like some daycares require.

You would have to call around.  Our daycare has part-time slots, but you pay for 24 hours a week (whether you use them or not).
An in home provider might be willing to do one day a week.

depends. my son goes 2 days a week. i only pay those 2 days but i pay whether its a holiday or hes sick or they are closed

I would just try to find a sitter or nanny of sorts. It will save you money and you will know that your child is being taken care of.

As long as you pay for the other four days You shouldn’t have a problem. Other than that there’s no actual daycare’s that I would be aware of that does once a week. You can try to find someone to watch her child once a week.
