Ive tried anal once. Without toys I found the only way was to work up to it. Ask boyfriend to put pinky in bum, when doing it from behind. Allow yourself to get used to that sensation. USE LOTS OF LUBE. Coconut oil is good if you dont have shop or too embarassed to buy in store etc. All you can really do is try to relax and communicate with him to go slow to start (just tip--then a little further--breathe--further etc) depending on your discomfort and pain tolerence. Trust and communicate.
