Ummm app wrong?

Hello new here I've been TTC for 6mos, I was only using the app at first when my bff suggested I use the app and ovulation strips...so I did one on the day the app said I was ovulating and it was BFN. Yesterday I did one because I was feeling frisky, so before me and MDF laid down I took another ovulation test and it was BFP, I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Apps aren’t accurate. They’re only guessing.

Apps always calculate 14 days after your period... you don’t always ovulate on the 14th day.

It’s best to take ovulation tests than go by the app. The app is more of a ball park. My peak ovulation day according to my app was meant to be this coming Saturday but I took an ovulation test today and I’m at peak today. Best to test in case you miss it by using the app! 😊

Apps use algorithms so they can be off. Opks should be used every day not just now and then. There should be instructions on which day to start testing. You test each day until you get a positive.
