I’m genuinely curious here, whose partners actually proposed to them out of nowhere without suspecting a thing? Who discussed it with their partner first? Was your ring a surprise or did you pick it? Plus, show me your beautiful rings 😍

We talked to both sets of parents about me wanting to move to Louisiana where he was about to be stationed next. He proposed to me at my high school graduation party with both our families and friends there after I had just turned 18. Couple months later, (now) and our wedding is in 11 days!!

He’s supposed to do it soon but he made the mistake of telling me and now i think he’s trying to wait until I forget about it. We had a conversation about this and he told me “you’re not going to expect it at all.” 
So now I have to wait until I don’t expect it

My husband completely surprised me with his proposal. We had been dating for 18 months, our first baby was barely a month old & we'd never really talked about marriage before that. Casually maybe I guess. Lol 
But one day he decided to pop the question! & his family recorded the whole thing. ❤ It was a family ring, it was way too big & not really my style but I was just happy & shocked that he wanted to marry me. 😂 
We've been together for 10 years & married for 7.

Hubby proposed out of nowhere! We’d had a bad argument a few days before and we were just getting ready for bed, I turned round and he was down on one knee!
He’s super practical though so I chose my own ring as he wanted me to love it!

He knows me well though, and knows that I prefer simple/classic rings as I’m not a huge jewellery wearer. 
He proposed with a gorgeous, white gold band, with a single diamond. Which is honestly the type of ring I’ve always seen myself wearing 😊
Might be “simple” for some people’s tastes, but it’s my personal style, and the fact that he took 2 months to choose the perfect ring made it even more amazing!

My husband proposed to me on a Saturday evening in while we had a few drinks and watched ace Ventura pet detective. I thought he’d gone up for a poop as he was taking so long. He cane in and got down on one knee and asked me 😂 I missed my opportunity to agree with an “alrighty then” instead I say yes lol 😂 if only I had t been so surprised haha I knew he had the ring but didn’t know it was gonna be then as we were going to London for Valentine’s Day the week after I thought it was gonna be then

So we kind of had jokes about it and I had hinted but he’d never said I’m going to propose to you just made out like he wasn’t ready. But secretly he was and had discussed it with his step mum. We went on holiday to Mexico but he’d still not decided when he was going to ask me, not even got a ring. One day I was painting at a booth and he ran to the jewellers who was closing up he begged for him to open and bought a ring I’d seen and loved. So he bought it and proposed on our trip to Chichen Itza underneath a little tree next to El Castillo (one of the seven wonders of the world).

I said no as it was a straight out will u marry me with no thought.. I said no.. there was many places he could of asked so I wasnt happy.. the second time.. was on my birthday.. this time I said yes.. he was thoughtful.. it was more romantic and I felt he meant it this time.. we got married a month later. I havent got a ring yet as I dont like most but I've seen some now.
