FMLA question?
Anyone know how FMLA works regarding appointments/emergencies before the actually birth? My HR rep had told me that FMLA can be used for appointments before the baby gets here to avoid using time off from work. I had to go to the ER yesterday for some bleeding and I’m currently off work for a couple days per the doctor. I’m trying to see how I can use FMLA instead of my vacation time. I figure I’ll go into HR when I get back but if anyone had any idea how that works, or if I’m even correct I’d take any information.
