Would you let your young son or daughter sleep over at a friend of the opposite sex's house?

Just curious to see what people say. I personally don't see an issue with it. Chances are, two 9 year olds aren't going to start making out with each other.

At a certain age yes and maybe only for a birthday party where a bunch of kids in the same age group of both sex will be there.

Five year olds, maybe. Nine year olds, No!!! I remember how curious I was by 9...I won't go into details but I know it wasn't just me. That was over 10 years ago! I'd be afraid to think what kids know now.

Yes my son has sleep overs with a girl the same age and her little brother. He sleeps in the brothers bed. She stays in hers. when they're with me they share mine my son stays in his and I sleep on the sofa. 
My last sleepover with my guy best friend was when we were 16 I think I slept next to his sister but before that all growing up we slept next to each other.  Our brothers shared and his sister slept next to my mum she's a lot younger than us.

Depends b - day sleepovers with bunch of people, yea that's fine... but I remember that age... and playing the ill show you mine game with all my friends (who were all guys), so I'd probably have the kids at my place or with parents I trust to supervise, it's not that big of a deal as long as they stay in separate rooms lol

It depends.. Their age & if I know the child or their parents are two major factors in the final decision. x
