I've decided I'm going to leave my husband, not because he's a bad person or I'm a bad person, but because we both deserve to be with people who love us. We haven't had sex in over a year, we are like roommates. I've talked to some of my friends (not mutual friends) about it but I'm still too chicken to talk to him. I have this timeline in my head I want to go by because I want to minimize damage and try to be amicable about the whole thing (I'm working extra to pay off mutual debt quickly), but I'm starting to feel like I should just cut the strings. I don't know what would be fairer and it (obviously) stresses me out a lot. Thoughts?
