I saw my dr. Today for my follow up visit two weeks after my first ultrasound. He told me that tomorrow I have a second ultrasound because there is possibly a second baby in there two weeks behind or that it passed away and hopefully if that's the case my body absorbed it. I am confused and at the same time wondering if anyone had this happen and things were fine? If not was the larger baby ok after? My dr said I was 7 weeks with the larger one so the second was only 5 weeks so they couldn't pick up a heartbeat or really see anything as I had an abdominal ultrasound. So for mamas who had this turn out ok please share your stories. And if possible if anyone has ultrasounds at five weeks could I see one and compare it to mine? (They say the bottom right corner is the second possible twin. I was seven weeks with the larger) Thank you all!
