Ok so my bf and I have known each other since kindergarten. We dated in junior high. We drifted apart in high school for 20 years. I found him on FB through a mutual friend from back in the day. We Skyped everyday for a year and ultimately I moved home to be with him. I’ve known since we were kids this is the man I wanted to marry. After living together 6 months I asked him to marry me. He said, Yes!

We are coming up on a year from that date. Nothing else has been said about it either. We are expecting our first child Christmas Day.

Now I ask all of you ladies, who has the ball at this point? Do I wait for him to put a ring on it? Do I buy my own? Do I just go ahead and start planning the wedding?

We have lived together for a year and a half. 3 months last summer we were living in a tent on his dad’s farm, homeless! We have since rented a house and he has gone back to school to become a Journeyman.

He went to jail for 45 days when we became homeless for a DUI he got b4 we moved in together. He lost his license and I drove him everywhere for 8 months. To work/from, to classes, to AA 3 times a week, school, and I worked full time as well.
