How taxing was it on you to pump with everything else in your life?

Trying to decide if I want to formula feed or pump. Also, will breastfeeding/pumping make it more difficult for me to get pregnant again during that time?

I think breastfeeding/pumping was actually way easier than if I used formula. You can feed anytime without needing supplies. It’s an incredible bonding experience with baby. Pumping wasn’t always my favorite but I did it when I went back to work so my daughter would have milk when I was gone. The actual pumping isn’t a big deal it’s just all the cleaning of the parts that gets annoying.
I nursed/pumped for a year with my daughter. I got pregnant while doing so when she was just 7 months. My supply did start to drop due to the pregnancy when my daughter was 10 months and then by the time she was 1 my supply was completely gone but that didn’t matter cuz my breastfeeding goal had always been 1 year

I pumped for almost a year with my 3rd and almost 9mo with my 4th. You make it work if you want it. 😄 I didn't breastfeed at all

My baby never really would breastfeed after some earlier complications. I tried pumping but my body didn’t respond well to exclusively pumping so I never pumped much milk and eventually stopped. Pumping was a HUGE chore. I might have felt it was worth it if I was making more though.

I didn’t find it difficult to breastfeed, I only pumped enough for a small stash for date nights and things of that nature or when I was feeling overly engorged while my son was sleeping. I’ve known many women to get pregnant while breastfeeding but everyone is different, for some it can delay ovulation while for others it cannot. But being pregnant while breastfeeding you run the risk of hormones causing your milk supply to become low or dry up
